gettin better

Anna was by with her laptop. During the hurried install of Debian on it after she bought it, I put off setting up some hardware. So, in less than an hour today, I got the camera (including programming a hotplug plugin to automatically download all pics), scanner, and printer all working. Wow.

Now if we could figure out why sound works, but it can't beep. And maybe get it to suspend to disk/ram, although Anna doesn't really care about that.
