If you mount a microdrive on a pcmcia adapter and somehow the prtition #5 that you thought it had is not there, but partition #3 is, and contains a "joey" directory, rm -rf ing the directory before looking in it and checking what you really mounted is probably a bad idea. Especially when the laptop's hard disk chatters a lot during the rm.

On the other hand, svn up after fscking your home paritition and seeing it pull all the files out of cache is pretty fine.
