I noticed some strangeness after the upgrade:
- there was a
.ikiwiki
directory in my top-level web directory - there was a
.svn
directory in my top-level web directory - I had to change the srcdir config directive from /var/lib/gforge to /srv/alioth.debian.org as ikiwiki complained about the first being a symlink
I think the first 2 may have been from a previous ikiwiki-mass-rebuild as they had modification times of 2008-01-04 17:46 (you can see them in /var/lib/gforge/chroot/home/users/camrdale-guest/tmp if you're interested). I guess something has changed in ikiwiki to require no symlinks now, which caused the 3rd.
Are these bugs or a side-effect of the upgrade, or should they be added to the instruction page?

The first two are not likely to be related to this upgrade.
The new restriction on following symlinks is documented in ikiwiki's NEWS file, it will probably bite alioth users more than usual, so I've mentioned it on the wiki page. --Joey
