d-i: another day..

Wow, we're past debootstrap. Etch installs are working from netboot. Installs of unstable still fail; the installer-breaking-transition-o-the-day is secure apt. CDs still broken, looks like still debootstrap or contents issues there.

Phil Hands has put together a great hack, a way to install Xen using d-i. He didn't modify d-i at all, just used preseeding. He's also doing some other stuff with preseeding that's pretty cool, and might turn into some kind of centralised community preseeding resource. Nice, this is the kind of thing I wanted to see happen with d-i preseeding. Check it out.
