drowing alive in bugs
Time for another pass through my recent bug reports, to fix those that have fallen through the cracks. This resulted in a fairly large set of changes for debconf (~ 3000 lines), and several fixes in base-config and debhelper. Plus quite a lot of bug triage on the debian-installer pseudo-pseudo-package.
Now there's only 220 d-i bugs, 163 bugs in my packages, and 185 installation reports to go. Heh.
Possible new d-i boot logo:
This is one of several that we're considering; imho it works better with
syslinux than any of the others so far. volkany got this too me less than
24 hours after I sent him an unsolicited plea for a logo.
This morning I tried half-heartedly to implement my new configuration scheme for d-i, but found out quickly that it would require much more work than expected in main-menu, and gave up on it. Problem is that main-menu expects the menu items to be static.
