geocaching bug

Somehow I avoided it until now but I've been bitten by the geocaching bug. I'm suprised at how many caches there are around here, including at least three in the park behind my house. I've ordered a Garmin GPS as my xmas present to myself, and hope to have some fun with folks tracking these down.

It was just barely snowing as I hiked up the hill from the farm today. Seemed to stop as soon as I got out of the valley and into the car though.
