Far too much time was spent today fighting with an ancient laptop, OS, and printer, ending in abject failure. Family tech support is such a beast, I swear to never do it again for family members not running linux, but I've sworn that one before.
I stumbled across John Goerzen's blog, which is not on Planet Debian, and from there to his Rail Passenger site. There's a certian amount of propaganda there, but also many pleasant reminders of my own month long round-the-country trip by rail. I'd like to do that again, sometime but perhaps with some time in sleepers and a cut through Canada.
On the d-i front, we have t-p-u set up for d-i (thanks, James!), and so unstable is unfrozen. Lots of uploads of pending stuff, so things are set to become more interesting tomorrow.
