leaving Vitoria
Tomorrow we'll leave Vitoria for DebConf4. I'm very glad I got to come here and spend some extra time in Brazil, and really experience living here and not only attending a conference. Shrimp and coconuts on the the beach, the packed neighnorhood square last Sunday night, the views of Virotia from the hill, a bad sunburn, visiting a capoeira class, the hammock on the roof, the snack shop that transformed into a bar somehow, cards with the family; I've stored up a lot of memories.
d-i progresses, and even works, depite what seems like the best efforts of at least one person to repeatedly break it over and over. I don't know what to do about that, but the less said about it in public the better. Just more stress I don't need; worry about not having enough testing lined up during DebConf is enough.
