new disk

I put a new, 80 gigabyte disk in my laptop. The old disk has had two bad sectors for over two years now, plus it was chronically full and slow, and noisy. The new disk makes the laptop feel a lot faster and is quite silent.

I've not decided yet if I want to use some of the oodles of disk space to put a Debian mirror on my laptop.

It does seem that I will be upgrading this laptop until it uttery falls to peices, instead of buying a new one.
