pho comes to Bristol
I'd not realised how much I was missing a good bowl of pho. Bristol's a small town, where dining options tend toward places like the Blue Circle, the Corner Dog House, and Kay's. Oh, we have a good Chinese place and a decent Mexican, but not much else. And so it's suprising and a big deal that a Vietnamese restaurant opened here a few weeks ago, at least to anyone who's appreciated bun or pho before. Last week was my first time there and we ended up chatting to the owner and I suggested to her that they should put pho on the menu. Today I was back and their special was pho. Nice! Perhaps it's the cooler weather but I really enjoyed it. They need to work some on their peanut sauce though. Now if we could only get an Ethiopian place in town..
