search for sand and sky

That sums up the last two days, as I've headed out toward the coast in the Carolinas' piedmont. Little Pee Dee State Park, Croatan National Forest. The ground has gotten sandy but I've had less luck with the sky between rain and trees, which has made both travel and satalite locks hard.

Now a brief night back online to get some work done before I'm hop on a ferry to Ocracoke and am offline for the rest of the beach, where there will be big, beautiful sky but no power. :-/ Ah well..
