the tree boats

Of course after whinging all week about needing to get up early for work, I end up a) waking up same time on Saturday and then b) getting woken up even earlier today for a long morning of canoeing on the river. We visited a very interesting area where many large wooden barges were left to rot in a backwater many years ago and are now submerged and covered in trees and other growth.

It was also pretty hot, unfortunatly that part of the river is also downstream from a power plant and periodically gets much warmer than any water not in a bathtub has any right to be.

All that wiped me out and it was a hard drive back from Richmond.
