this and that
The only coding that I did today was a patch for debootstrap to let it work with the (broken) libc6.1 in testing on alpha and ia64. If that's accepted we won't need to wait on a fixed glibc entering testing, and d-i may manage to release on time.
The rest of my worktime has been spent in well, management, keeping track of other people's fixes and tracking issues that could block release (and not). That's how things will likely be until the next d-i release, mostly. I don't like it much, but it has to be done.
I've managed to get back into a novel, Crossfire, by Nancy Kress, it's nothing special so far (too much cliched exposition) but I have had trouble reading much lately for some reason (very unlike me) so I am glad to be reading that. This evening I went down to Kingsport to a choral concert. Large orchestral and choral works are not really my kind of music, but my mom was in it so I had to go, and it was enjoyable.
Soon, I will have furniture.
