Who needs FAI?

Worked all day today on fixing things to allow preseeding the second stage of the installation process. My usb keydrive is now able to install Debian with a full gnome desktop (downloaded over the net), asking me only for the root password.

Total install time: half an hour
Total number of keystrokes: 8 (with a pathetic 3 character root password)

Soon I'll have it automatically changing my shell to zsh, installing all the Debian packages I can't live without, and checking out a copy of my home directory from subversion, for a completly customized joey-machine.
