I like the idea of making it easier to do "screen -x", and that would definitely help with screen-oriented programs. On the other hand, rather than just hitting the kill switch if you see an "rm", what about a "moderated" mode? You could accept line-oriented input, and after each line require the primary user to confirm it. Essentially, you could create a program that does for a shell what gobby does for an editor.
